2. SAY GOODBYE
TO THE
PLASTIC BAG
Forgot your bag?
We want to make sure that you always have another option.
That’s why a wonderful community of volunteers are creating and distributing Boomerang Bags across Ryde.
Parents, kids, schools, community groups, hobby groups… we need you all. Come together to make re-usable bags using recycled material as a means to providing sustainable alternative to plastic bags.

Volunteers
Let us know if you would like to join an existing group, start a new group or sew from home.

Materials
The beauty of these bags is that they are up upcycles material that would otherwise end up in landfill.

Cut, sew, stamp
Fun for all ages.
Can you cut, iron, pin, stamp, sew or make a great cuppa?

Distribute
We make them available in our local community so there’s no excuse for single-use.
We need your love
The only way Boomerang Bags can happen is with a beautiful community of volunteers. Please join us to chat, cut, sew or donate materials. New accessible and inclusive venue, bring the whole family to Henley Green Community Centre and Gardens on the second Sunday of every month, starting Sunday 8th September 2019.
Workshops on second Sunday of every month

We hate spam too. We promise we’ll never on-sell your details and only send updates if there’s something super important.
Why are we doing this?
Every plastic bag you don’t use is one less against these ugly stats.
