Simple Steps to Waste Less
Let’s keep it simple. 5 easy changes to reduce what goes into landfill.
Go on, try one.
The Dirty 5
Coffee Cups
Putting the con in convenience. These guys are not even recyclable! And not half as handsome as their alternative.
Plastic Bags
The average plastic bag is used for less than 12 minutes yet clogs our kitchen drawers for like eternity.
Water bottles
Barely ever recycled these are bound for a waterway near you.
Straws
These bad boys are small but seriously sucky.
But that’s only 4?
Bravo, you got us.
So 50% of the world’s plastic is used on items used only once.
But did you know we also throw away about 20% of the food we buy?
And over 20% of what we try to recycle goes back into landfill, cos we got it wrong?
So #5 is all about knowing your waste…

I need all the coffee
Oh, we hear you.
Chill out. Take a breather and have your coffee “to stay”.

Sip, don't suck
Find another way to impress your date…

But maybe you have a romantic attachment to these pesky bits of plastic, and if you do, you can always invest in a reusable option. Yes, they exist!

It's thirsty work
Somebody bring me some water
Tap water. Its easy, clean and about 2000 times cheaper than the bottled stuff.
And its everywhere. So bring your fancy bottle and fill ‘er up.
